A country based on a just society – if we can just see past the culture wars, the attempts to divide along the lines of Te Tiriti o Waitangi we can be something special.
A country of immense beauty – Lord of the Rings was basically 3 x 3hour adverts for the above water portion of the 8th continent.
A youthful country whose best days are still to come – despite being developed in economic terms, we still have developmental potential and it can be done without costing the environment
A country for the most part respected by the international community – we have very good ratings for press freedom, government transparency; asylum seekers and refugees come here for good reasons: we are the safe place that they could never find in their countries of origin.
And I want to be a part of making that happen. To make Aotearoa be all that it can and not just what it is.
